Addiction Recovery for Professionals

The Professionals Program at The Recovery Center offers a treatment experience that is designed to address the specific issues that are typically faced by professionals in early recovery. We understand that even people with successful careers can be derailed by a problem with drug addiction, alcoholism, or substance abuse. Our goal is to not only address issues specific to the addiction or substance abuse, but also assist the patient in re-entering their profession with-in the context of recovery.

We understand that confidentiality is extremely important for professionals entering treatment. Often times, professionals hesitate to get help and enter treatment because they believe it is accompanied by some social stigma. Our offices are located in a discreet location right in the heart of Baton Rouge and our staff upholds privacy to the highest standard.

If requested, the treatment team can advocate for the patient with licensing boards and liaisons. We are an approved treatment provider for the Louisiana State

Board of Nursing’s Recovering Nurse Program (RNP) and the Louisiana Physicians’ Health Foundation (PHP). We have also worked with the Louisiana State Bar Association’s Lawyers Assistance Program (LAP), the Louisiana Dental Board, and the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners (LASBSWE).

Goals for the Professional Program:

Identifying and resolving issues that led to treatment
Learning how to balance recovery and a career
Resolve any potential family issues related to career or substance use.
Provide recommendations and continuing care plans that will assist the patient in ongoing recovery and, if applicable, in complying with stipulations made by a licensing board or board liaison.

Faith Based Treatment

Our Faith Based approach to drug and alcohol addiction treatment uses Biblical Principles and Christian Counseling in addition to the 12-step recovery and psychotherapy program.
